Good amber. Color is a classic amber with a ivory head. Smell is almost caramel-ish with a nutty bite. The taste is a good balance of of hops and crisp amber taste; almost a amber IPA. 2.5 of 5 stars.

This beer has a great balance to it. The beginning is a medium malt flavor with hints of caramel and the classic scotch ale flavors. It then finishes with a nice balance of hops that don't overwhelm the mouth or the scotch flavor with too much bitterness.

One of my favorite ales. Such a magnificent mix of flavors. Great anytime of the year. Sweet, then bitter, somewhat hoppy.. Good stuff!

Dark red brown color. Nice hoppy mouthful of flavor with a small ending bitters. Well balanced and mostly smooth goodness.
