I love bocks and the full malty flavor of the doubles. This one is off. It tastes like a bock with corn syrup in it. You can do better.
Cookiemonsta - December 11, 2012
Extremely malty and bittersweet.

Very smooth and malty. Mellow for an imperial beer. A good sipper with high ABV.

Strong taste but smooth

Strong initial taste, much softer after taste. Not the easiest to drink, but pretty good

A great DB. Rich and sweet.

Taste like molases.

Good three finger head with a clear red-brown look. Nose is heavy on malt with a hint of booze. Slightly thicker mouthfeel. Taste in two words? Warm and malty. The only beer I've ever thought was too malty, probably won't buy another

Malty, thick, rich. Salty aftertaste.
