cgiron - February 23, 2012Dark mahogany in body with a reddish tinge and a khaki head that leaves moderate lace on my Sam Adams Perfect Pint glass. Roasted malt and chocolate aromas precede the well balanced flavors of caramel, malt, chocolate and a nice lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with mild carbonation. Full flavored and bold. Enjoyable and easy to drink.

Not a great beer, just middle of the road. Not a lot of flavor to the beer even though it is a porter.
bslowe - January 10, 2012Medium caramel colored head. Malt aroma with slight caramel accent. Spiced,full flavor taste.
thechasm442 - January 7, 2012Starts off sweet and malty and moves to a somewhat bitter taste with a touch of cocoa and small hint of smoke. Not a bad porter at all.
