A very nice, rich, red color. This brew does contain a bit of sweetness that I may find undesirable if the bitter hoppiness did not follow up for a smooth balance.

This is a decent Irish Red. This is not one of my favorite styles, but this is one of the better ones I have tried.

Not a huge fan of this style of beer. Heavy on the malts. Very drinkable though

Best fucking Irish red I've tasted..a sweet Carmel, malty taste and smooth..will drink this shit all nite long... 5 stars

Pours a deep amber, almost red (hence the name) and has a nice balance of sweet and bitter taste. Most Sam adams I've had were nice. This is no exception.
