Good but little hoppy for my taste

A nice pilsner. Good clean taste, with a bit of heartiness, just a bit.

This is decent.

Light and hoppy for an ale. Very good. Most of these ales are pretty forgettable, not so much on this one.

Too hoppy

Bottle. Resiny pine character with little hop character. Still fairly balanced for a pilsner.

Poured this one into my brand new, Samuel Adams glass that my lovely wife purchased for my birthday. These glasses are designed to increase the head production on beers poured into them, so I ended up with about four fingers worth of foam right away. The beer itself was pretty tasty, but I confess to enjoying the Golden Pilsner recipe better. Overall not a bad beer, but not a great one either. As for my wife....she's the best!
