Okay for an Imperial/2X IPA, but heavy, somewhat unbalanced bitters/hops. Nicer after a few "regular" IPAs.

Copper color with citrus flavor. A bitter finish, high abv makes this not an ideal sessionable ipa for summer. Would drink again but wouldn't go out of my way to find it.

Strong alcohol and malty. Made for sipping.

Odd tasting double IPA. Maybe a little too malty, bitter aftertaste. Ok, but not great. Bottle, Aug 2012.

A very flavorful but odd IPA. Thick and dark, tasting closer to a stout. Will get you drunk classy like

Clean and refreshing, much lighter than the abv would have you believe.
