Sierra Nevada Stout, Sierra Nevada Brewing, Chico, CA. Nice stout with good flavor. Flavors are not overpowering - a mild stout compared to many others that are heavy on coffee or chocolate flavor. Sierra Nevada says"brewed with generous amounts of deep roasted malts, providing a bold, roasted coffee and dark chocolate flavor with a hint of sweetness."
Full-bodied American version of the traditional black ale.

Definitely stouty! I didn't think S.N. would put such a thick classic style beer out their. I guess I've only mainly had Ipa's from them. This was a very good beer that quenched my stout craving to a T. It was thick, complex enough, and had a milk stout feel to it.

This beer really surprised me Iam a fan of Sierra nevada beer but didn't expect that nice stout taste that this beer has I really enjoyed it.

Not a great stout, was a little disappointed since normally like their beers.
