Not a fan of saison but this one is actually ok. Not overpowering but still has that slight sour taste.

Excellent body. Citrus up front and great balance throughout. Dry finish, clean and tart on back end. Label says will improve in the bottle over five years.

Farmhouse Ale/Saison. Dry with spicy notes. Historical context is that they were brewed in rural parts of Europe during the winter and to protect against bacteria, the brew was dry and spices were added. Brewed grains were then used to feed livestock when food was scarce (winter).
