I have been staring this case down for a few months at my local distributor, and finally grabbed it. I do not regret it one bit! One of the hoppier beers I've had in recent memory with a taste of citrus and pine. Very smooth after the first sip or two. If not for the hefty price tag, I would get this more often! I highly recommend it to anyone who can appreciate a good bitter beer.

Weird metallic-ish taste to the hop flavor but a good after taste. I didn't really like it, probably wouldn't get another.

Stone brewery ruination IPA
Pours murky deep caramel, with 2 inches of head, little lacing. A beautifully cloudy brew, bordering on an orange color. Aroma is of hops, strong citrus scents, but a very sweet scent at the end of the inhale. There are strong tasty hops, notes of orange, perhaps tangerine. Very fruity, particularly citrus flavors from the hops, sharp flavors of grapefruit. Even a hint of apricot.
Dry hop flavor turns bitter on the tip of your tongue.
Little bitter aftertaste.
I have never tasted an IPA like this, the bitterness comes from the dryness of the hops on the front of the palate.

Piney, hoppy nose. Slight malt sweetness in the nose. Great copper color, smooth mouthfeel. Great hoppy flavor up front: piney; citrusy; a little pineapple. Wow. I am impressed with how much I like this.

Too hoppy for me, talk about a punch in the throat, bitter beer face all the way through. Hop heads will adore this one.

Mild hop. Citrus is there but not overbearing. Fourth tasting of the day so might be masked by the buZZ
