The best BA Barleywine out there, hands down.

B+. Smooth, bourbon and brandy like, a poor man?s Utopias. Had a 2022 aged in bourbon barrels and though similar, I rated it an A. It was 15%.

Amazing barleywine. Revolution does it again with a barrel aged beer (the other being the top notch Deths Tar). This high abv beer is one of the best, or possibly the best, barleywines out there. Actually, one of the best beers period. A big beer, not surprisingly. Perfect, syrupy body. Sweet toffee. Touches of vanilla, molasses. Salient barrel aging, but it does not drive over you like a truck. All elements in balance and requires no aging. Compare to Central Waters same genre, but this beer is a little better; Central Waters version adds a little woodiness. Some barleywines are harsh to me and would do well to have a year or four of aging. Too bad this costs $7 for a single 12 oz can. Pretty daing pricey. Got at Downer Wine and Spirits. Given the supreme richness, better to split this can with someone else; honestly, 12 oz is too much.

One of the best beers I've had. Better then Bourbon County Stout. Not as good as Propreiter. Best part is the liquor store had a 30% off sale so picked it up for $9!

Really potent beer 13%. Nutty smell but has a chocolate after taste that warms you up inside.

Outstanding! Malt character of the barley wine really brings out the bourbon barrel flavor. Perfectly balanced.

Overwhelming molasses flavor. More of a dessert beer.
