B+. Big boozy, but fairly smooth. Sweet malt aroma, tobacco, sweet cherry, bourbon. Definitely more black malt tasting stuff in here than most Barleywines, could be an A.

2014; 13.5% ABV. Intense, complex malty with dark fruits tones; definitely a sipper

If my eyes were closed I would think I was drinking straight bourbon; you'd have to convince me I was drinking a beer!

A true English Barley wine after trying it maybe my favorite barley wine. Dark hazy caramel in color with no head and little carbonation. Has an elegant vanilla bourbon and oaky aromas. Very pungent it wafts out of the glass. Surprisingly very easy drinking for 13% abv it has a boozy warming quality that makes it perfect for sipping on a cold night. Incredibly complex has a sweet caramel followed by raisins vanilla some oakiness and boozy bourbon finish. Very balanced this beer is awesome! Also hard to find!

Described as an American barley wine on this app, but FW website describes it as A true English Barley wine. This beer is amazing. My favorite barley wine.

The single greatest beverage experience of my life. So smooth, so rich, and so much flavor. I never want to finish.
