After a long day in the Texas heat, nothing is better than a couple of cold Tecates.

Sorry, don't really like Mexican brews, this one really stinks, don't know what anybody would like about this beer. Have a Pacifico instead. 1/2 a star. (popped a top)

Pretty good American lager lacking the bitterness of Budweiser, PBR, etc. Better (more flavorful) than Corona. Malt is sort of ricey. Slightly sweet. Great to accompany spicy food or as a light session beer on a very hot day. I like it best ice cold, in a can, with a squirt of lime and a splash of chile for flavor.

Pours a straw yellow, from a can. Good carbonation, light mouthfeel. Aroma is corn, grain and light hops. Little taste, dry finish. There is a corn and slight lemon taste. No acidic or metallic finish like other Mexican lagers. Below average beer, but not the worst by a long shot.

In a nutshell, this beer is water from Mexico. It is however cheap to drink.
