I had much higher hopes for this beer from reading the description. Unfortunately, the honey-sweetness gives way to a body that tastes cheap and distasteful, reminiscent of the off-flavors of Budweiser. The chilies are barely discernible, and any chocolate notes are absent altogether. It's a lackluster mishmash that completely misses the mark. Such potential, but that potential is squandered.

Liquor after taste

Golden ale with chocolate. Light for a chocolate ale. Prefer a roasty choc stout

Easy drinking, nice "post" heat but not to hot, slight hint of honey, not much cocoa flavor unless you convince yourself of it

A lot of flavor in this guy. The chilis aren't overpowering either. Not totally my thing but definitely better than the 5 rabbit one I tried

Cocoa adds an interesting flavor dimension to the beer, however the finish is delightfully fruity.

Great for wrapping presents on a 5 degree night.

Rich, with a hint of chili spice, Belgian yeast-style finish. Very nice.
