Unique, adequate black cream ale/IPA. Smoother than a criminal looking at a man in the mirror.

More smoky flavor than good but had a nice IPA aftertaste. Surprisingly smooth. Good winter beer. 4 stars

I'd probably only drink one of these on occasion but it is a good winter beer. It has ipa characteristics with a pepper-y flavor as well. Very strong flavors.

Black IPA. Can taste dark grains. Not just an IPA with color. Not my favorite style.

Not the best black IPA I've had. I expected more of a punch and it wasn't as flavorful as I'd hoped. I'll try it again sometime to see if it was just an off day!
