Very smooth for 9%. Slight bitter taste with a smooth finish

This beer is stellar! It does an amazing job hiding its heavy-handed abv.

Bitter, has A bite if you like that. Exactly what is says it is. Good sipping beer.

Tastes like an apricot and an oil change. They said they were going for moonshine and asphalt. Close enough. Not for the weak of heart.

Pours rich Carmel color, but not malty at all. Good hop bitter start. Slight strong alcohol taste which is expected at 9%

Lots of bitter taste at first. Does not seem like a 9.6% beer.

Fresh bottle. Pours brownish with a 2 finger white pillowy head. Sweet piney aroma. Hops shine through. Definitely taste the yeast strain they use. Sweet flavor. Don't taste the 9.6% abv. Solid ale!

Pretty solid IPA. If you ever get the chance to hear the true story behind the making of this ale, it's pretty wild. Solid brew that I wish they offered year round but understand why they don't.
