Pretty decent balanced stout. Pour black with a thin khaki head. Smells, initially, of soy sauce then faint chocolate and campfire aromas come through. Tastes of chocolate, coffee, soy sauce, brown sugar and a slight bitter hop and finishes with a mild alcohol burn. Mouthfeel is slightly thick and sticky. The high ABV is pretty well hidden. Nothing is overpowering and it all is well balanced. Worth getting more to cellar.

Solid imperial stout. Roasted malt

I have found that this brewer knows how to brew a stout, and this is more proof of that. It's boozy as hell, yet balanced. The roasty malts and burnt hickory finish make for an all-around interesting stout. Looking forward to trying the rest of their stouts!

Nearly black body w/ thick motor oil consistency. Thick khaki head leaves pretty lacing. Smoky toasted malt, coffee nose & taste.

Low carbonation, smooth. Mid-large body. Deep chocolate, mocha, sweet from malt, roasted malt that lasts. Very balanced. 4.0 Good for price

In every generation a Slayer is born. One imperial stout in all the world. A chosen one that pours blood red with a smokey, boozy, sugary monster nose. (Bomber in The Cave)

Very nice balanced stout. Good malt, coffee, caramel flavor. Hops were not over powering just the right amount of bitterness
