Very strong. More like a alcohol drink. Not a stout fan so gave it a 3.

Very thick great mouthfeel like molasses, a huge beer tipping the scales at 18% abv! One of the best stouts I have had. Strong chocolate flavors with a light pleasant boozy burn at the finish. Sip it like a fine whiskey and enjoy this beer!

AWESOME beer. After having a 12oz bottle to myself I was thinking one more and someone would've had to drive me home. Gotta watch that ABV it really does sneak up on you. "Try Brew-dog - Tokyo" also an INCREDIBLE beer

Very strong and distinctive flavor. Slight burn on the swallow. You might not like this brew but you won't forget it.

Got a pour of 2006 vintage at a "craft beer week" event at DFH Alehouse restaurant. Sadly I think my sample was badly oxidized- flat, raisin-y,and undrinkable. Got a refund, but would rather have had a replacement. Very disappointing. Update- got a fresh sample. LOVE this. So sorry my first sample was trashed.

2012 bottle. Dark brown pour with not much head. Khaki head will come up when swirling the bottle. Getting the malts and some alcohol on the nose. Smells and tastes barrel aged with the vanilla! Dark fruits like plums on nose and taste. Getting some coffee as the temp rises as well. Definitely notice the alcohol. Good carbonation. Definitely a complex beer! Well done!
