Picked up a six pack at Target for $8.99 (okay I was desperate and I needed dog food). Anyway this is a good brown ale but it isn't the Best Brown Ale I've ever had. That honor goes to Smuttynose Old Brown Dog Ale!

Very good safe brown beer, tasty and not too overwhelming, not the biggest fan of browns but this one is delicious!

It baffles me how someone can comment with "not good at all" with no explanation. This is a great brown very well balanced with a toasted malt character. Would have again.

great brown color with a nice full head. It had a faint sour aroma and flavor laying just underneath the malty goodness.
