I have come to the realization that I love scotch ales. This is the best I have had. You pick up caramel and prune immediately in the nose. Tastes starts off a bit bitter and finishes sweet with a strong caramel taste with a touch of prune.

BGN described it perfectly, "like a loaf of rum soaked raisin bread." a bit boozy.
