It's a good tasting beer, but when comparing to Iron THisle by Rahr. Founders comes in a close 2nd

Smooth start with deep scotch middle and a chocolate prune finish. From an IPA guy... nice change.

A little to bitter, malty and heavy for me. Not horrible but would mostly get again for the high alcohol percentage.

Good ale but definitely "dirty" with a less than desirable after taste. But I just got done drinking a Belgium ale....
