Had a rich, almost apple taste. Very smooth.

Pretty malty, but it grows on you

Great strong dark kick at the beginning, smooth after taste

16JAN13, South Park Tavern, Dayton, OH Draft, pint Medium-heavy mouthfeel yet very smooth with a slightly crisp carbonation on the back end. Almost mildly sweet, but a hint of bitterness is hidden under the maltiness. Maybe a hint of hops too, but faint. People describe the aroma and taste as peat-y, but I have no idea what that means.

Scotch flavor, malty and sweet, tastes like candy. Decent dessert beer. Bottle, January 2013.

Very sweet and malty. Has a chocolatey aroma I think. Very heavy. Having one after Christmas dinner and dessert was a very poor choice.

Winter warmer.Malt monster. Pours dark and murky, not much of a head. Taste pf Carmel and roasted notes. Finish you can definitely feel the 8.5 Avb. Hold true to the 120 schillings style
