DaxAttack - January 1, 2013Full hoppy smell, delicious. Big taste of hops, so fresh, similar to hop notch from unita. Delicious. Full. Slightly floral but a wonderful balanced bitterness

Moseman - December 21, 2012Smooth, hoppy favor. No sustained, bitter aftertaste. Very good pale ale.

ronald.patrickm@gmail.com - November 21, 2012This one has grown on me. Best in small sips and at slightly warmer than usual temps for an IPA. Enjoying the hop profile more and more.

Todd T - November 13, 2012My favorite Founders IPA. Ridiculous how good this is. Sunset orange with a thick longstanding head. Great lacing on the glass. Aroma is outstanding with hops, citrus and more hops. If you are a fan of wet hopped ales then you MUST get your hands on this. Definitely a Top 10 favorite, possibly higher

ronald.patrickm@gmail.com - November 12, 2012Bottled about five weeks ago.
Light orange color. Little head from a weak pour. Would like to see more next time.
Strong grapefruit aroma. Cascade hops? Reminds me of SN Pale Ale but on steroids. Maybe some pine. Not overwhelming.
Very smooth and somewhat thin mouthfeel. Does not linger.
Grapefruit hops hit right away. More bitter than pleasant. Pretty standard IPA bitterness. Flavor does not develop much. Little malt support. Smooth finish is nice but I would prefer some lingering complexity.
A bit disappointing. I think it will be better on draft and closer to bottling. I would get it again if cheap and available, but would not go out of my way

kmattingly - February 25, 2012Smooth hoppiness. Slightly sweet. Floral flavor and clean finish. I had this on cask.

magicalpoet - November 21, 2011This is my favorite fall beer! Much more like the Haufbrau House Oktoberfest than the usual, darker fare. It's hazy, golden with a frothy head. Citrus notes and a good malt character with plenty of hoppy goodness!
