A very dark brown, almost black thick body w/ minimal khaki head. Dark roasted malt & bourbon aromas. Molasses, boozy big flavors. Great!

Wonderful coffee and dark chocolate stout. Easily the greatest stout I have ever had

They don't get much smoother than this one. Chocolate and bourbon blended in almost perfect balance. Delicious. Bottle, May 2014. Had 2015 and 2014 on tap at Ave Pub, March 2015. Liked 2015 better, had softer mouthfeel and more flavor. 2014 was still good, but slightly less sweet.

Very thick beer with some coffee and light bourbon notes I just got this bottle a few weeks ago it was a 2014 I think if I would have let it sit for a few months it would have made this beer more enjoyable but for the hype that this beer has I thought it lived up to . I liked it but I would still not say that this is my favorite beer of all time

2013 and 2014 too much bourbon flavor 2013 a year later is richer, has mellowed some.

My favorite beer ever. Transitions perfectly from a stout to a bourbon flavor.

Bacon and coffee in small bubbles. Worlds most balanced and rich breakfast beer.

Heavy coffee and chocolate flavor initially. Finishes boozy with a bourbon oak flavor. Pours with little head and has a smooth bourbon flavor. Great sipping beer.

Very nice well balanced stout, I've been waiting two years for a taste. For as hard as this brew is to get there are lots of barrel aged stouts that I believe are just as good & more easily available. Still I give it 5 stars.
