trevorcoop00 - April 13, 20134-12-13. Pours dark with a nice tan head. Head thins quickly but lingers. Nice dark malt aroma. Full mouthfeel. Hints of caramel, toffee and definitely coffee and chocolate. The alcohol is hidden quite well but hints of it can be tasted. Chocolate and dark fruit flavors hang around long after the drink is finished. I am generally not a fan of bourbon aged beers but this one I really like.

catscratchfever - April 11, 2013Strong, but doesn't taste like liqueur. Light coffee with strong chocolate finish. Would work well with a scoop of ice cream.

Borderking - April 11, 2013Make sure to drink it close to room temp. and WOW...a perfectly precise balance of bourbon and oak, without going too far to any extreme. The alcohol taste is wonderfully subdued. A solid stout that commands attention.

StoutLarry - April 7, 2013Malty, with a deep, rich mocha flavor. Faint alcohol taste, but not overpowering. Aftertaste of a bittersweet chocolate.

kozyshank - April 5, 2013Smooth not too boozy
Chocolate and toffee
Coffee and notes of the bourbon
This lives up to the hype and is totally worth it
One of the best brews I've ever had

ryanmay7 - April 3, 2013Amazing, my new favorite and totally worth the trouble and price of finding a bottle

davl22 - April 2, 2013Yikes, freakin incredible, it's like breakfast stout and imp stout had a bourbon baby, very complex and smooth, the bourbon gives it more vanilla/ coconut flavor on the finish. Wow wish this was easier to get.
