Like doing a shot, but excellent

Pours dark amber, strong malt and hop aroma. Loads of malt, nice amount of hops. Sweet, a little boozy, honey, citrus, bitterness. 12% catches up to you quickly. A malt-forward triple IPA. Excellent. Bottle, 11/5/14

Finely crafted beer but not a huge fan. Heavily malted almost syrupy quality. Has a sweetness in a way that I'm not a fan of. Bitter but not overpowering. Not too boozy.

HUGE malt. For a triple ipa, I was expecting more hops.

Nice flavor and smell. Heavy beer (burg & barrel - founders)

I like this beer a lot although the price $21 4 pack makes it less attractive as their are comparable beers for $7 less. Great nose, bitter hoppy ending. I really like it. Not boozy at all considering it is 12%

Not very hoppy. A bit disappointing for something billed as an IPA. Very sweet. A large beer to be sure but just not very complex. I could have had two authentic IPAs for the same alcohol load.
