10 oz draft, Poured into a tulip glass. A deep copper almost maroon color with minimal head. Decent lacing on the glass considering the 12% abv. Pleasantly surprised! Very well balanced DIPA. Unfortunately, I could only have two!

Clear dark copper color with just a light film of head. Smells really boozy (it's 12%), with some caramel funk to it, with maybe some oak notes. Flavor is an oddly hoppy flavor and thick syrupy mouthfeel with more caramel and earthiness. Finish is super boozy, and mildly wet and quite bitter. Good but very strong!

Pours a fairly clear copper color. No head retention. Alcohol and caramel on the nose. Massive hops! Slightly unbalanced and bitter even in the aftertaste. Seems more like a barley wine than a 3xIPA.

07UL13, Coy's house 12oz, goblet Pours a clear dark copper color with just a light film of head. Smells really boozy (it's 12%), with some caramel funk to it, with maybe some oak notes. Flavor is an oddly hoppy flavor. Kind of dark hoppiness, with more caramel and earthiness. Finish is super boozy, and mildly wet and quite bitter. Kind molassasy character, with moderately thick mouthfeel.

Strong & delicious

I like hoppy, but this is a bit too much. Sierra Nevada's Hoptimum is a better beer and half the cost.

Runnin' with the Devil Dancer's 10 dry hops. The massive alcohol hit kicks your arse, followed by a dry and sticky double IPA aftertaste. (Draft at Founders)

This is a nice ipa nice balance. However for the price, I think you can do better. My wife said it tastes like ball sweat

Like dogfish head 120 but better flavor. No real pine hop flavor, but a very fruity hop flavor and a tingling boozy finish. Worth trying and trying on draft must be interesting. Not bitter as far as hops are concerned but it has a very complex fruity flavor, and has a sweet feel when swirled around in your mouth. Flavor is more aggressive than aroma, aroma disappoints. Mouth feel is slightly syrupy. Color is very nice amber glow with medium cloud. Overall it's good but not worth the price ($25 for a 4 pack)
