specksofdust - May 5, 2013The nose, to me, was all hops, which concerned me. I was not hoping for a pure IPA blast. Thankfully, the DIPA only lives in the aroma, a quick hop bite up front, and at the finish. The middle is all Trippel, as is the aftertaste. It's never very complex at any one given point, but goes through so many phases that its undeniably complex. Really tastes like Green Flash Trippel and Palate Wrecker mixed together.
