This beer is no joke. It is on par with DFH WW stout and 120 in terms of potency. This is a beer meant to be sipped over a couple of hours.
I opened this and poured it into a glass and then let it sit for almost 90 minutes. It never lost its head while it was sitting. I tried it right after I poured it and after it had sat, it seemed to taste even stronger.
The smell is strongly chocolate and coffee. The taste is heavy. It's a viscous beer with a lot going on. Most notable are the chocolate and coffee followed by malt sweetness typical of a high ABV brew. There is an alcohol burn for sure. It is a really fantastic beer. Just not your everyday drinking beer.

Hot alcohol notes. A beer that is ok in 4oz portions but almost stomach turning if any more.

This is not a beer for the weak at heart! A BIG complex stout that awakens every taste bud in your mouth! Properly named..this should scare the hell out of ya!

Intense imperial stout! Inky black, aroma of raisins, bourbon, and caramel, drinks like a robust port, lingering bitter finish, I had a 3 year old and it was still a little hot on the palate, similar to world wide stout from dfh but more flavorful
