5-24-13. Almost non-existent khaki head over jet black beer. Aroma is heavy on vanilla with a slight coffee and roast malt undertone. Mouthfeel is medium thin, thinner than I was expecting for an imperial. Vanilla, espresso and strong roasted malt flavors. Finishes with a vanilla and roasted malt taste. As it warms the malt is more prevalent.

Rich and chocolatey. Great bits of coffee and vanilla with a smooth creamy mouthfeel. Amazingly good.

Black coffee porter. Extremely dark. Sweet undertones of vanilla and Carmel. Better for desserts. Good, but not Narwhal good.

Wow! Now this has some flavor! Roasted barley, coffee, vanilla, hop finish, not much left out. Kicks like a mule.

Really impressive flavor that I found nicely balanced. Some others have found too much vanilla, but vanilla was very subtle with my particular bottle. Coffee was pronounced but didn't seem to overpower. Aroma was incredible. Very nice sipper.

Noticeable coffee and vanilla. Not terribly bitter despite being an imperial. Pretty tasty but mad heavy.
