I think imperial is an understatement for this one. Strong flavor with a good bit of alcohol bite, and a slight hop on the finish. Pours dark with a nice dark head and good lacing as well. Would drink again, but prefer a smoother stout.

Creamy rich head. Smokey and chocolate coffee notes. Strong. Bit of bitterness at end

Had at union station, Eric's beer. Great with out food but would go better with food but great. Very complex Flavors dark with coffee-like accents. Hints of who knows what.

Now we are talking...opaque black body with a very large thick fluffy mocha brown head that leaves good lacing and stands for a very long time. It is an outstanding looking beer that makes me want to dive right in, no...really, I want to swim in a vat of this stuff--on my bucket list! Right away, I get a strong alcohol presence as I take in the aroma. There is also a very discernible sweet oat scent to the beer which is nice and is not always present in beers that use oatmeal. I also get tons of caramel and a slight vanilla with wonderful raisins hitting last. It tastes like creamy caramel, chocolates with some sweeter flavors of dark fruit, raisins, dates. Roasted malts provide nice balance w/ a slight hop bitterness. Decadent beer to sip on with a creaminess and so many sweet and creamy flavors coming together. Fruits complement the sweet malts and the roasted flavor is just enough to add balance. Awesome, awesome beer.

Good, but strong bitter after taste

After a 3 1/2 hour drive on I-35 this thick, beauty was Pulled ice cold from the cooler, on a hot 104 degree Texas day. Full rich stout with tones of coffee, pine, and chocolate. So very good!

Wow. Just gorgeous. Beautiful auburn head. Just the right amount of carbonation. All the right favors of an imperial stout. Very initially muted bitterness but come on later in the aftertaste. My favorite imperial stout to date.

Chocolate head, thick creamy textured, it's a drinkable snack!

Light smoke early on for this bottle of motor oil. Long and hoppy finish. Really great beer, but you better like imperial stouts. Split this with someone who appreciates good beer. Half is enough.
