Aromas of dark chocolate and raspberry, a very clean smell but not an overwhelming nose. It is richly opaque, jet black with a medium/small chocolatey head. The taste is sweet with hints of a variety of rich fruits -- raspberry, plum, even cherries. It has a little bit of the more expected mocha taste, but that's secondary. There's a slight bitterness on the finish and a lingering taste that more fully captures chocolates and coffee. Very solid beer worth a splurge every now and again. Surprisingly sweet and richly fruity, only slightly bitter at 75 IBUs.

Heavier than Guinness. More chocolate flavor. Good stout beer.

Strong coffee flavor. Thick beer that gets better as you drink it.

Tastes just like an IMp stout should. Nice smokiness, but just from roasted flavors

Heavy beer, very earthy flavor. Good, but could only have one.
