Metsfan93727 - June 28, 2013I never had an experience like this. I drank half a bottle, then it marinated for an hour, then I projectile vomited. It wasn't any better coming up than it was going down. Sux cuz I luv old Rasputin.
motherschlepper - June 14, 2013YUMMY!! Bought it at Whole Foods. It's a pretty reddish color. A nice small head stays on top after a while. Very smooth and silky. Kind of sweet. A truly nice Belgian ale!! The bottle recommends drinking it from a goblet at 55F. As good as the Ommegang beers.
kkazlowski - May 29, 2013just a tiny bit sweet and sour but not really too much of either. Very smooth, and definitely the alcoholic taste. Nice finish, and not really hoppy at all.
bassfury - April 29, 2013Ummmm....tasty! Milky smooth and sweet...awesome and worth a try if you can find it. How can you go wrong with a beer named after Thelonius Monk! Gets you nice in no time.
