Fireballlk - February 22, 2015Bold bourbon malt, deep dark color, creamy, great aroma, better with warmth, sipping beer; great

bockboy@att.net - February 4, 2015B+ to A-. A big dark beer with lots of alcohol and malt. Kind of smoky. Roasty and boozy with some caramel.

clipinski13 - February 4, 2015Exotic Paraguayan Palo Santo wood is used to age this rich, unfiltered brown ale. Complex, full-bodied flavor and feel give this brew a unique offering similar to a port. Deep, sweet malt flavors with notes of vanilla and caramel dominate while the brew's silky richness develops as it warms. At 12% ABV, this ale is one to be sipped and savored. The use of the Palo Santo wood to create this masterpiece has given me wood!

skettyeddy - January 25, 2015Strong brown, chocolate in the bouquet
Syrup feel, strong alcohol with a subtle hop bite

bigtheta@gmail.com - January 5, 2015Amazing, rich flavor. Kinda like a really good 70% cacao bitter dark chocolate with a dab of scotch and a trace of a smooth vanilla flavor. Packs a punch. If it finishes too bitter for you, let it linger and swish it around just a bit before you swallow. As much as I like this beer, I can't manage a whole bottle - it's like having a whole bar of bitter dark chocolate.

taylor.mn - November 30, 2014Balanced for how powerful it is. Coffee notes on the end, but wine like in its flavor
