B+ to A-. A big dark beer with lots of alcohol and malt. Kind of smoky. Roasty and boozy with some caramel.

Exotic Paraguayan Palo Santo wood is used to age this rich, unfiltered brown ale. Complex, full-bodied flavor and feel give this brew a unique offering similar to a port. Deep, sweet malt flavors with notes of vanilla and caramel dominate while the brew's silky richness develops as it warms. At 12% ABV, this ale is one to be sipped and savored. The use of the Palo Santo wood to create this masterpiece has given me wood!

Strong brown, chocolate in the bouquet Syrup feel, strong alcohol with a subtle hop bite

Amazing, rich flavor. Kinda like a really good 70% cacao bitter dark chocolate with a dab of scotch and a trace of a smooth vanilla flavor. Packs a punch. If it finishes too bitter for you, let it linger and swish it around just a bit before you swallow. As much as I like this beer, I can't manage a whole bottle - it's like having a whole bar of bitter dark chocolate.
