Like a dark bud. Not layered almost like a flat coca cola hop up front then flat

Nice smell, dark red in color, sweet and floral for a dark, light hop, slightly bitter after taste.

Like a steak marinated in dark malt extract! A classic through and through.

Beautiful black color, dark roasted coffee malt flavor. Slight licorice taste. Not as creamy as I'd prefer for such a dark beer, but not overly carbonated either

Delicious! Maybe the best doppelbock I've had.

Vary good doppel. The color is a smooth cola with a almond head. The aroma is nutty with a bit of wood root or yeast. The taste notes are maple, walnut and toffee. 3.5 of 5 stars.
