keagan - January 30, 2012very malty, tan 2finger head, very dark with a bit of burgundy hue. taste blood/chocolate floral comedown

mellowman - January 8, 2012My rating 4.5 Pours and looks like root beer. Smell of fresh bread. Smooth malty taste, not sweet.

sbradstreet - January 7, 2012I am not a high ABV fan - I think it detracts from a beer's flavor. As a result, I generally don't love double cold, but this tastes great! My favorite double bock ever.

mrkis - December 26, 2011Almost the same taste as a Dunkle, but it has a bite at the first part of it.

andrewert - December 24, 2011Refined double with a slight smoke and smooth finish. Medium body with a strong carbonation, med-large bubble. If doubles were more to my taste, this one could top the charts.

YoshiV - November 28, 2011OH WOW was my first thought after the first sip. Even better on tap, available as such in the Cleveland area at Michael Symon's B Spot.
