brianbialkowski@yahoo.com - October 12, 2012Rich amber color, slightly opaque, with flecks of yeast circulating. Nice thick was with a lot of body. Delicious smell...floral notes from the hopes but with an almost woody note, maybe from the oak. Great taste. Pleasing bitterness, doesn't burst or pop like some IPA's, has an almost syrupy thickness to it. Can taste the oak, also the strength--doesn't taste boozy, but you can tell its strong.
