Actually like the bastard better. Similar, but much bigger malt note and lines in the after taste. Lasts with you for a bit. good viscosity for its taste, matches. bold sweetness, but definitely bitter underneath it all

Good. Has some bitter almost nutty tones. A bit too bitter for my tastes. Full kinda dank hoppy aroma is good, but bitter taints the flavor. Beer is well done, just not my favorite. Actually less bitter as it warms. 3.5 stars

Great beer. Best beer ever made. Only privileged people can have one right now cause its out of season.

Excellent. Very hoppy beer with a malty caramel taste. Not that sweet though- just right to deliver a 10.5% beverage in a smooth and satisfying fashion.

Thicker & more creamy than the arrogant bastard ale also a lot stronger. So. Much. Win.

At first look creamy amber colors. Very sweet smell with a that wonderful hop aroma. Smooth carmel flavors all the way threw, with a big hop bite. A excellent beer and I would highly recommend it.

I'm glad I am worthy of this bastard. Absolutely delicious. Wimps need not apply.
