Man this beer has some flavor, had a 2010 keg on tap at Ave Pub in 2013, so the hops were a little subdued and gave way to malt and other deliciousness.

Deliciously sweet barley wine (or "double strong ale" to be technical). I want to get one to lay down for a few years. Everyone (even those that don't go imperial) should give this a sample at least. This is what beer can be?!?! Yes. And the bastard shall set ye free

Very bitter. High alcohol content is noticeable. Overall a decent brew.

Awesome! Extremely complex. Hoppy,malty,heat from alcohol,bitter,sweet,all at different moments.

I won't go into a formal, structured, review as I now have a head cold. I will say that even with a full blown head cold that this brew is eminently enjoyable. Had on draught.

Very smooth, velvety. Excellent. A little sweeter than I normally like, but a great beer.
